Growing and teaching how to grow beautiful cut flowers is my biz—-but we like to eat from our garden too!
Absolutely love our @joegardener beds more and more with each passing season.
Stevie has taken the beds over for veggies, but I’m sneaking in flowers—-stay tuned!

so we’re here at what we call my Joe beds They were copied from Joe Lample good friend of Growing a Greener World And this is our little vegetable patch is what this this garden has kind of evolved into These are our beets which have now been thinned to be about 3 to 6 in apart Um they were much thicker and I thinned them and we ate the actual greens or the tops off the beets Um so they’re coming right along and bulbing up And then we have some onions here um that are coming in And then look at this beautiful stuff This is our broccoli that is just coming right along And I cannot wait to eat that And then down here I’ve planted Steve’s peppers So this is a row of jalapenos which is his favorite And that’s a row of um bell peppers So we’re ready to roll The reason that I chose these vegetables to grow out here in this bed is the deer tend to not want these um because we have no deer protection here right um so these are ones that I feel pretty safe with So we can’t wait
