What’s going on with this tree at my mom’s house

I noticed the trunk to the left with the odd formations and white on the opposite side. Is this reason for concern?

First pic is possibly sapwood decay and the second is maybe old wound wood from an old injury

In the first and third pictures, it looks similar to blonding caused by the Emerald Ash Borer.
