I think you just have to live with it really. It’s a natural part of the soil. It comes and goes in my plants throughout the year.
I had the same problem and sprinkled cinnamon into the soil and it cleared it up.
Leave it in the sunniest spot in your house, let the solid dry out…the plant will be okay without water for a while, and turn it into the soil, had the same issue with my peace lillies and orchids
