If you’ve always wanted to get into gardening but aren’t quite sure where to begin, Costco has you covered. They’re currently selling a chic, walnut-colored, elevated garden bed that’s perfect for any yard, balcony, patio, or small outdoor space.
A sneak peek of the bed was shared by @costcotwins on TikTok, and they describe it as, “UV and weather resistant, self-watering, and draining.”
Excuse me? Self-watering? Count us in. Oh, and it’s only $99.99!

Caring for Elevated Garden Beds
According to Gardenary, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind when getting started with an elevated garden bed.
First, you want to be sure to place it in an area that gets ample sunshine. It needs about 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. The site advises, “Ideally, you’ll position your garden on the South side of any tall structures, such as homes, garages, tall sheds, and fences.”

You’ll also want to ensure it has proximity to a water source, especially for the dryer days of the year.
Gardenary also stresses factoring in personal convenience, saying, “Look for sunny locations near a back door, front door, or even next to your driveway so that you can pop outside with scissors to snip some herbs for dinner or some lettuce leaves for lunch.”
