They need access to way, **WAAAAY** more soil.

We cannot tell if they are lacking water from our vantage. Water more than you think you need to.

The plants’ energy is now being put toward fruit growth, instead of leaf growth. If the fruits aren’t getting any larger, it may be time to fertilize with a liquid feed heavier on Phosphorus and Potassium to encourage fruit and flower production.

They needed to go in the ground. Watermelon/ Pumpkin are big plants

They may have run out of micronutrients in the pots

Roots can’t grow, need to be planted in the ground

Echoing that they need more room for their roots. If you are worried about spread over the yard, you could isolate the base of the plant with plastic sheeting or an old tire.

If you are really against planting them in the ground you could try fertilizer with a decent nitrogen content, but I’m not sure whether they will grow much more than this.

They’ll never grow in a pot. That’s why there are pumpkin and watermelon patches

The pot is too small for their roots to spread and if you don’t plant in the ground they will die

This time of year it could be night time low temperature isn’t low enough.

They derive their nutrients from the soil. You could try amending them but they’re hitting their limits.

Pot too small, but if you take them out the stress might kill them this late in the game. Try cutting out some of the bottom of the pots and bury the pots a couple inches in the soil, the roots will grow out the bottom into the ground

Should be planted in the ground. This has just been left in a pot

  14. Add more food if you’re going to keep them in pots, I do them every year you can get them to grow big they just need more food in the pots more chicken poop, compost, and I find a good fish fertilizer really does the trick.

In ground will always out grow potted plants but you can definitely make it work

When’s the last you fertilized?/ you need to repot
