    Very cute little oak.
    My favourite saying is:
“The mighty oak was once just a little acorn that held its ground.”

  2. Is your put her feet in the ground, her growth would rocket.

Please set her free! 35 years is too long to be in a pot 🙁

  4. We have an offspring oak from one of the big ones in Phoenix Park in our garden and boy is it shooting up in the last couple of years. It’s at 3 meters already 🌳

I have a small oak that I grew from an acorn in a fairly large pot. It’s about 8 years old now. I hadn’t considered the possibility that I could continue to keep it in the pot for anywhere near as long as 35 years.

Has the oak in the picture been trimmed/pruned ?

Is plant food used to sustain the oak ? If so, what type is used ?

Looks great, I’ve a similar small oak but not as impressively old as yours. Probably 15 ish years.
I’ve tried to bonsai mine but would also be interested in how your tree has been pruned.
