I was pruning my SOP today and found this adorable heart shaped pearl! Is there any way I can cause more to grow like this? Or is it in response to damage? Could I propagate it? I would love a string of pearl hearts!

If there’s no repetition it’s most likely just a weird leaf and most likely won’t happen again. I have tried with several types of succulents with no luck. If you see it happening multiple times in a row then it might be a genetic mutation that you *could* replicate but it would be unstable.
