Looks like progress! Make sure you nuke that English Ivy or you’ll regret not killing it before it kills everything else.
This is gorgeous!
Unfortunately landscape fabric is ineffective and horrendous for the environment. It breaks down and then just leeches microplastics into the soil. Weeds will be breaking through it in about a year or two.
The PNW has a lot of invasives (English Ivy front and center for you) and I can understand the desire but it would have been better to solarize the soil, then mulch with no weed fabric.
