I discovered a thrips infestation last September. I fought hard for 6 months. Week by week all 70 of my plants died. It was a sad gruelling process. This was my favourite corner of my condo when my plants were happy and healthy.
I finally had some inspiration for the space, and decided to go with whimsical butterfly stickers to cover up all the marks my plant hooks made. I need to paint, but it’s going to be a long while until I can.
I’m currently looking after a few of my mom’s plants while she’s on holiday and still paranoid about thrips, so I’ve set lots of traps.
I can’t bring myself to start building or replacing my collection yet.
