Got these two for $30. They’re much bigger in person. The vines are about 6 feet when hung up. I’m planning on putting pins on my walls to help them climb. Any tips for a beginner?

Nice, you’ve picked some good plants to start with! :3 Though, I don’t think you have two plants there. It looks like the nearest planter has a mix of Golden Pothos and what looks like Neon. That’s fine, they are similar enough that they can live in a pot together. Just be prepared for them to have a nice contrast and look different to each other.

Not sure about the back one… is it a Heartleaf Philodendron? Or a Jade Pothos? Not entirely sure, maybe someone else can weigh in. :3

Your pothos will love to climb, and as they do, their newer leaves will get bigger. Give plenty of bright, indirect light, or they’ll start to get leggy. Routinely check their vines and their aerial roots; they might try to root directly in your wall.

They’re beautiful plants and will grow fast, so enjoy them! :3

Pinning to the wall can be pretty but makes sure to check that they don’t root into your wall as someone else said. It can be super damaging to your home if it goes unchecked

You got both for $30?! ! Killer steal and quite the auspicious fate of plants serving as positive harbingers in your years to ensue as you embrace the verdant & vibrant vibes of the climbing & trailing realm that if not rooted in reality may consume you. (These “2” prop to another 8? With cuttings left over, but one more because: those leaves! Had to, i

New to the plant game as well. Got into the hobby as a way to quit smoking! Kinda throwing all my focus into plant knowledge. They look very pretty, and I hope they continue to flourish! I know that pothos love humidity, and putting it in a space like bathroom or kitchen can help. Personally I want one of those pothos people put on their 2nd stories that just droop all the way down. They look cool as hell, but climbing pothos also look like it would be a great addition to your living space c:
