He’s in need of some serious light. He is really stretching for it.
I would chop it in half personally just so his trunk could get thicker and sturdier
I tried cutting the trunk once before and it just grew back tall and skinny again. I guess you’re right about the light.
This tropical plant needs sunlight so much..it’s better to place it by brighter window/spot or outdoor(temperature not below 1x°C/5x°F)
If you want to keep its height,grow more branches and a thicker trunk..you just “always” pluck terminal buds off..more buds will grow along the trunk and trunk also grow thicker and thicker..
..How often do you water it？
