Took a cutting from a FLF I was gifted and can’t seem to get it to go. Stem is looking less healthy as are these leaves. Would love some help as I was hoping to get it stable enough to gift to my mom.

Soil seems incorrect. Get well-draining soil. Miracle-Gro has a tropical plant soil. Ensure the pot has multiple drainage holes and fill it up to the edge.
I usually take new cuttings and leave them in water for the roots to sprout. I’ve personally had more success that way.
Always look at the roots….its got too much soil around it and staying too wet is my guess.
