This beauty seems to be doing great but what’s the proper way to handle the blooms that are past their prime? Ignore the little specs on the leaves. I got a little generous with the Bonide granules in the area.

You can just snip off the spent blooms. More will grow!
Follow the flower stalk stem all the way down the main stem. Hold it with your thumb and forefinger and carefully wiggle it side to side to snap the whole flower stalk.
