We moved in August and I had all my plants settled in a storage bin to carry in the car between houses. My husband stacked other items in the bin (why??) and crushed my violets. Then the bin got left in the garage in the Texas heat for at least week before I could locate it in all the moving chaos.
Needless to say all my houseplants were in rough shape when they came in. I babied my two big for months waiting for them to grow new leaves before I trimmed away the damage and repotted. During the recovery one of them put off 3 babies that are now in the small clear pots.
During the recovery I bought the little lady in the purple pot in case my others didn’t make it.
After almost 8 months I have blooms again! I’m so happy. I honestly didn’t think they’d survive the trauma.
I don’t have a clue about any of the varieties as they came from a grocery store. The pink has always been really leggy no matter how much light it gets and gets white/pink edges on the leaves which is fun.
