After I got my first, I read about wick watering at the top of this sub. It makes growing AVs so easy!
Some basics: loose soil by using about half course perlite and half AV soil. They like to be root bound, so use a small pot about 1/3 the size of your mature plant.
Keep soil moist, not wet. Feed with AV fertilizer with every watering ( use about 25% diluted if wick watering).
They need lots of indirect sunlight. I use Sansi full spectrum grow lights. Lots of friends here have fab luck with good old sunlight.

Remove spent blooms and stems down to the neck.
