I need help please.
Good morning. I need help with my standard issue AVs that I got 3-6 months ago. I had them in an eastern facing window that sits under a large oak tree, so not the brightest of lights, but some. Their soil is Happy Frog potting soil mixed with orchid bark. I bottom water when the soil is dry and add very diluted Jack’s Classic AV fertilizer to the water. I usually let them all sit overnight to make sure they’re nice and watered. I live in south Louisiana so home humidity is on the higher side. I had one, in the cream pot, that would flower pretty reliably, but none of the others have flowers since the flowers I brought them home with died. I frustratedly moved them to where they’re sitting now, on a concrete table (still in the same glazed ceramic pot and saucer), which sits under that oak tree. So, they got dappled sunlight throughout the day. Now, they look even worse. Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong or what I can do to help them improve? I was going to move them to a west facing windowsill, but thought I’d check with the folks on here first. Thanks for any help!
