Either we pruned them too much, or too late, or both. Would they replant if we put them somewhere else on the property? Can they be saved? Or are they too far gone?
How long would it take to revive the front if they can be saved? Thanks in advance!

It could be boxwood blight. If you are considering replanting I recommend a substitute like Ilex glabra or another similar plant. Boxwoods are very over planted and boxwood blight is wide spread so you might end up getting it again if you replant boxwoods.
They don’t tend to recover from pruning past the foliage into the finer branches all that well. Probably your best chance is too give them a VERY hard prune back to the major branches and give them fertiliser and plenty of water.
You basically want to prune them so hard that they reshoot evenly all over the plant.
