Got these two from my work (Lowe's) but it seems the seasonal hires were over watering them. Their potting medium was sopping wet and the protective bag was filled with water. Fortunately Optimara makes 'em tough and their crowns are intact. I repotted with proper medium.
I think they'll be just fine…but I was wondering if I should go ahead and remove their blooms since most of them are kinda in rough shape?
Additionally, I think these 2 are Optimara's Little Trio and Optimara's Anika, what do you think?
Lastly, I'm torn between telling the garden team to chill it on watering the AVs so much and letting them drown the plants so I can get them on clearance and revive them!

I snip the ones dying off one at a time.
So pretty! Yes, go ahead and remove all *spent* blooms and stems down to the neck. Personally, I would enjoy the remaining blooms before pruning. You may have a couple more weeks of gorgeous blooms there. The roots will be fine in the mean time.
If you have a choice, wait until it’s done blooming before repotting in the future. You were right to repot now with amended soil. Darling saucers!
AV rescuer!❤️🤍💙
Those saucers are adorable!
I know it hurts but I follow GrayTurtle (YouTube’s) advice on removing all blooms when bringing home from big box stores/nurseries. Pests can be really bad and it will rebloom in time! Especially if already in rough shape. Just my two cents!
Indeed, I love the saucers!!!
As much as I like to keep the blooms. I do quarantine now as I have many plants Im afraid to get some kind of infestation🙈. Ofcourse you do what you feel like doing. But just to be safe, keep it away from your collection for awhile. I take photos so I can still enjoy them😅 while its in quarantine.
