Definitely in the Carya family, got yourself a hickory of some kind, straight from the nut itself

I appreciate the responses. Honestly, I have no idea how it managed to sprout where it did—you probably wouldn’t believe me even if I told you, haha. I initially suspected it might be oak or walnut, especially since there was an old oak tree in that area that died last year. Interestingly, it started growing in an old container, gently relocated to the ground in hopes it will grow huge. Any insights are welcome, thanks yall!!!

For DFW it’s most likely pecan, or another hickory type. Squirrels and ravens will bury them in pots around here.
