We made the mistake a few years ago of putting this fiddle outside and she got scorched by too much sun and heat, lost all her leaves and pretty much “died”. Was a sad stem in a pot. But we brought her inside and she actually started to show some signs of life and has produced these leaves in the last 3-4 weeks. We want to do whatever we can to help her thrive, and someone advised that we should cut her in half, replant her top half, and leave the bottom half as it is to possibly grow some new leaves as well. Any advise would be really appreciated, as I don’t want to do the wrong thing and ruin her chances.

Chop at 18 inches. Fertilize once a week and put in full sun outside until growth starts. Then move to where it only gets morning sun to about 10
