This used to be very full, lush and top heavy, however, after being left outside during a move on a hot day I cut all the scortched leaves off. Hoping to get it back to its former glory. Would y'all suggest a good prune or notching? If prune, how far/close to the stem should I cut the branches?!

Both prune it down but also notch it it needs a good reduction and the notching shoukd help if fill out nicely.
My suggestion, chop off all branches(丫⇒ |)..just keep a stump at 2-3 ft tall..it’ll bud again in several weeks+..now is May do it asap!
Flf is tropical plant, it needs sunlight so much..it’s better to place it by brighter window or outdoor(68-100°F)..and l suggest watering it once every 10-14days,must be thoroughly every time..don’t keep excess water in saucer(beneath the pot)after watering
