Smooth bark, whorled leaves. Owners think it’s a subspecies of eucalyptus but I don’t think so. Anyone have a clue? Thanks!

Looks more like oleander than eucalyptus to me.
Edit to include botanical name Nerium oleander
I believe it’s oleander as well which is super toxic, just fyi.
