I’ve had this FLF for about 4 years, its been growing really nicely and is how about 8ft tall. Time for a repotting has come this spring but we also want/need to chop off some of its height. I plan on propagating of course.
So here’s where I need some input. Would cutting and then repotting be too stressful for the plant? Or how would go about it?
TIA!

Its stem is so thin and no branches!
I suggest chopping it in the middle(or your ideal height)..and Flf is tropical plant, it needs sunlight so much..it’s better to place it in front of window
In the future,if you want more branches, keep its height, stem grows thicker..you just “always” pinch terminal buds(at stem’s tip)off..more buds will grow along the stem
Don’t repot. Too stressful but definitely chop. Stem is far too thin to suppprt that height
