I’ve got this fig that I’m a bit sentimental about, I got it at the beginning of COVID as a tiny baby and now it is huge. She’s seen some shit, but keeps on trucking. She’s too tall though, lanky, and can’t support her weight. She put out 5 branches a couple years back but couldn’t get enough light for all the leaves. I just moved her to this spot hoping she can get better light, because she was taller than the window I have had her next to. Should I give it some time and see if she’s happier by this window? Come to terms and chop her somehow? If so, how??? Take one of the fresh healthier branches and root it??

I would chop it pretty far, to where that little stake is holding it. It’s branched way too far up and the main stem is too skinny to sustain the weight long term. It’ll be worth it, I promise!

  2. Chop at the level of black horizontal bar. You’ll have 3-4 new flfs
