I inherited a few leggy and gooseneck violets. I know they need to be repotted but I’m not sure how many of the existing leaves (if any) I should remove. Should I attempt to straighten the stems or leave them twisted? They seem fragile and I’m afraid of breaking them. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you’re feeling brave enough, I would say just chop them and plant the stem in dirt. There’s a few YouTube videos that can show you how. But it’ll allow the stem to grow roots for the crown instead. Remove any wonky leaves or any outer leaves that are smaller than the inner leaves. You can propagate them!
