I’ve had this guy for about 2.5 years. I do rotate him and have repotted with risers at the bottom as he used to have root rot. As you can see it’s leaning bad still as I’ve had to add a stake. I really can’t move it as this is the only location with good light besides a back bedroom (kids). I am thinking of chopping the top to make a new plant and make notches for new growth. If I were to do that where should I make the cut?

I would choose a little under the top of that pole. Dip end you cut in rooting powder and pot and water like usual.

Mine gets like that too. I hack the top off periodically. It makes it branch, which is cool. The stem seems to grow thicker if you don’t let them get crazy tall right away. They ooze a lot of irritating white goop, so put something down under it or take it outside to cut it. If you have any curious pets, don’t let them near the ooze. It’ll burn their mouths.

Turn the plant to even out the plant side stretching for light.
