I think it’s been a bit over a month since I pinched the new growth tip to have my fig branch out.
I’m not seeing anything. What should I do to have it branch out ? Or do I have to wait longer?

You did right..the buds will grow along the stem..that usually takes several weeks+..
lf you always pinch buds off..the stem will grow thicker and keep its height
