It’s long overdue
Personal opinion here, but I wouldn’t cut her. Id just notch her. Google Notching a flf if your not sure what I mean. It may help it may not. Either way good luck and happy growing.
I’d do more than a top chop
If you shake the stem often,or blow a fan on it regularly it will strengthen the stem/trunk it will fatten up to support top growth
