Pay no attention to the snow, it’s SPRING. Let’s create a living centerpiece by starting lettuce seeds.I’ll walk you through it. Additionally, I was totally shocked by my Goodwill. They were stocked and I picked up some nice items…I’ll share my haul. #thriftedhome #vintage #thrifthaul #gardens #centerpiece #spring

Patty, I hope your lettuce has taken off and you are resting comfortably. Too funny – I also have a set of vintage pimpernel placements in the smaller size that I have not done anything with yet. Now I know exactly where I can use them… brilliant. Your botanical prints are beautiful with the matting – I'm sure you can remedy the frames and they will be lovely. Take good care of yourself. ♥
I like to pick up the good vases at Goodwill also. It’s nice when you take flowers to someone that that you can arrange them in the vase and take them to present them in the vase, one less thing for the person to have to do.❤
I enjoyed learning how to start seedlings….I don't have an area for planting them, but will love watching yours grow…the idea for centerpiece is very clever!!! Hope you are doing well!! Take care!❤😊
Hi Everyone ~ I am excited for my lettuce centerpiece to grow ~ and starting seedlings always feels like a hopeful belief that spring will eventually get here! Do you have a garden? Let me know what you like to grow!
Patty, good luck on your surgery!
By the way, how is Kathleen doing. We didn’t see her for a long time.
I love garden stuff, so I will be happy if you add this topic to your videos.
That’s a common size of placemat in England. All of mine are about that size. Loved the botanical prints!
Hi Patty what a cute centerpiece idea. I think those placemats are luncheon sized – I have some as well. LOVE the botanical prints – frames are a quick fix. I did the same thing with a thrifted framed print I got and with the rub and buff you can't even tell it used to have a mottled finish. Glad your surgery went well – hope you have an easy recovery.
I think your vase is one that back in the 90’s were fish bowls. You put greenery and a gold fish or beta fish in it and the top actually had a glass insert that was an oil lamp. That’s why it thicker than an ordinary flower vase. I have several still.
Those botanical prints are beautiful!
I'm looking forward to seeing your spring table.
Please take care and wish you a speedy recovery 😊
Hi Patty, I enjoyed the video and the thrift haul. Our GW does not do anything off at anytime. Their prices on glassware have skyrockeded recently. I believe they google lens them to see how much they are worth.
Thank you for the video. Take care and heal soon.
Those placemats are the luncheon size.
Love the two picture prints …beautiful !!!!
I was at the Williston Goodwill last week, and they had the two color tag system then. That is the first time I noticed it. They had a lot of inventory when I was there.
