Are you starting celosia seeds? I grow a vast selection of plumes and cockscombs.

Shop the seeds in my shop.

Celosias are long lasting cut flowers and pollinators love them too.

The color selection is amazing!

Celosia Sunday Mix is pictured.

  1. Do you set them around your home? They’re beautiful!!! I’ve started growing yellow roses (my favorite) in hopes of having them around the house ☺️

  2. I bought the mixed plume variety and there was basically 100% germination !!! Caution to users… only plant 1 or 2 of the tiny seeds per cell/ block or else you’ll have to separate them all!!!

  3. Maybe you could quickly explain what that is and how it’s done.

Short videos can be too short to the point of uselessness

  4. Is it the same as dead heading? My mom was an awesome gardener. She always invited me over to dead head. It’s therapeutic

  5. I would like very to know which plants are good for pinching! … would it be safe to just look at leaf patterns and pinch anything that looks like it has potential for lower growth?

I do pinch some plants. Last year I tried it with a hibiscus and it took so long to recover that it never caught up to the one I didn’t pinch. I think it would have been pretty though if I could have kept it alive a few years.

  6. I pinch stems but not annually. Daily if at all possible 😂😂😂😂😂😂

In truth I don’t have those kinds, but I deadhead my father’s zinnias for the same effect. Idk why he thinks idk what I’m doing.

  7. Quick question for y’all green thumbs, I kept the poinsettia from Christmas that everyone thought was dead and she is thriving. But should I pinch off the old leaves?? I was just waiting until they fell off on their own.
