My (quite large) string of pearls seems very unhappy and I’m worried the roots have rot. Any advice on how I should approach this… should I cut them all and try and propagate? Should I put it in a terracotta pot or another plastic pot? I’ve not successfully repot a string of plant before …. Thanks in advance x

Wrap some of the longer strings around in the pot at the top. Don’t water unless the windows are closed ♥️
If you wrap a few longer strings on the inside and lightly tap them down, then they will root and eventually fill up the pot with time. Good luck!
