  1. Giday, I"m from NZ and it is good stuff, you just need to be patient – it's amazing for roof tiles, I do get on my roof to spray so I don't miss any bits, but then most of our houses over here are single story. Excellent for decking as well as concrete paths, as we are advised not to water blast our concrete as it breaks it down. Also, I sense after you had sprayed Wet and Forget on your paving it was already working when you chose to use your water blaster which made it look like the water blaster was better. Still, was nice you gave it a try, and it really does work mate, just need patience. Have a neat day and yes I am subscribed to your channel.

  2. Been spraying W&F on parts of our house walls (exposed blocks) that had some large patches of black staining caused by fungal growth, and in some places green algae, all thanks to our great British weather… it works great, but takes about 2 to 3 months after spraying to show significant results. And about – say – another 3 months later, the walls were spotless. You have to give it time.

  3. I brought that product to try to stop the algae growth on the roof of my Motorhome.
I also tried it on my driveway, paths and patio with similar results. It did work really well on my shed and fences.

  4. Another NZer. Wet and Forget takes time, however an alternative at half the price is something called 30 seconds, both need 3 to 4 months. BUT bleach is even cheaper and works as well because they are both basically diluted weed killer and bleach!
And 40 quid – you are being ripped off 🙂

  5. I haven’t used this wet and forget product but have used the blue one and find it very efficient, you do have to put it on and leave it but the results are good but it’s not instantaneous.

  6. Looking at the comments. I'd say, clean as normal with a pressure washer. Then put the wet and forget down. Should then stay clean over summer and winter without needing another clean. £40 is a bit steep though.

  7. So we used this on 19 play area surfaces about 2 months ago and it worked killing off the green algae. Its not instant and you need to be patient but the signs of yellowing a week or so later will show you it's working. It's excellent on wood and will clean this rapidly, sometimes over night. We also tried MMC pro as a comparison but favour the wet and forget, top product 👍

  8. I must say your findings here and in all your patio cleaning vids very much echo my own experience – there’s no substitute for physical dirt removal. Nothing actually works on my patio except just scraping the dirt off slowly in passes with the washer. I don’t have green algae or moss, just dirt. Good old dirt. Where the hell does it come from each year so consistently and evenly? Does it just fall out of the sky? Who knows. But as I say, physical scraping is the only thing that actually removes the dirt.

  9. £40 is a good price! It's usually £45 or more. I've never seen it used on slabs and fences before as I've only ever used this on my roof, but as you now know, it does take up to a year to work, but saves climbing on roofs

  10. Poor review – you're looking at the short term returns on a long term investment. It's like rating a superannuation product (look it up) on the returns over the first 2 days. It does make me question the cred of your other reviews.

  11. We have used it for several years and it really works and keeps working.
That "staining" you can see around the riven parts of the slabs will disappear with heavy rain. You will also notice that for some time after when you have a light shower of rain the droplets will head on the surface of the slabs.
We use the mix yourself blue type but I was very impressed with the pink applicator type that you used, the product seemed to go much further.
I wonder if you can refill the applicator with the blue product?

  12. Used this to remove algae on house brickwork – especially on the upper floor. They were really quite bad when we moved in due to the trees etc. It took probably 3 months to kill everything, but 5 years on and the bricks are still clean and significantly improved the whole look of the rear of the house. Not sure how else I would have covered all of rear of a large semi-detached house, but it took 30mins from ground level to use but 3 months to be completely effective.

  13. It does work but keeps killing mould over many weeks. I agree the Rapid label is misleading. I use it every year, much easier than bleach. Two days is barely enough to judge how well it works.

  14. I’d much rather use something like wet and forget twice a year which is quick and easy to apply and safe once dry. You need a bit of patience. pressure washing for ages making a mess (especially on block paving the having to re sand when it’s all inevitably blasted out – which is also not cheap). The time saved applying it compared to pressure washing with it is definately worth it. Don’t agree with you on this one sorry. I don’t think you’ve given its fair try in this review or considered all applications.

  15. I love wet and forget. Takes a good few weeks to take full effect. But, does work.
Patio is Indian stone and gets very green over winter. It now looks pristine. I used it on the fencing and gravel boards. Three weeks later it looks like it’s been painted again.
This product does work on a long term basis. Took all the effort out of cleaning. 😊

  16. I also used the blue one with a pump applicator sprayer like a fence sprayer.
It also stop the green coming back year after year.

  17. Hi nothing to do with the patio cleaner.

Have you ever installed wireless light switches receivers ? Just the simple ones. Not the ‘smart ones’ that link to Alexa Google etc. They seem almost too good to be true!!!

  18. This stuff is great although I use stuff called DDAC. The stuff in that wet and forget is called BAC.
I've found if you find the active ingredient and do an online search you can get more concentrated versions and cheaper.
I use a miracle grow sprayer to put it down 👍🏻

  19. Stu, is it true your wife is divorcing you because she came home and found you in bed with another woman?
