Do you believe this mix is too chunky? I have a few philodendrons, pothos, and monsteras that I want to switch to a chunky mix, and saw this mix at the store. Thoughts?

Nope it’s perfect. I love it & my aroids do well
I use this, but I mix it with equal parts bagged potting mix and coarse perlite. On its own it wouldn’t retain enough water for me
By itself, I don’t think it’s a great choice unless you’ve got the plants in a high humidity enclosure and/or are watering very frequently. It retains very little moisture. If you use it, definitely mix it with coir or peat, or some all-purpose potting mix containing one of those. But even then, personally I prefer smaller pieces of bark, and the bark pieces in this mix are huge. Like 5x what I want them to be.
