I own a blackstone that I have never used, and as soon as I bought it was left without the cover on leading to extreme rust. Is there anyway I can send you pictures and have you help me do it?
There's no way u got all the rust and cannot guarantee that the steel will lose rust on the food after a couple more uses , what is dead will stay dead
Here's a secret. Promise not to tell anyone. Get the grill nice and hot, Pour Grapefruit juice all over it, use a grill brick and bam your grill is like new!
Those black spots that were there right before you seasoned. are those just seasoned spots from before? Im trying to scrape off all of it and if i dont need to, i wont.
QUESTION : I tried this, then the first time I wiped the grill to clean it, and used my 3-1 painters tool, the layer scraped off and I was down to bare metal.

A sanding flap disc works really well on the angle grinder too!
The can of compressed air. What in the world.
So you just be cooking in used oil over and over again?
i use bacon grease exclusively for this purpose

I don’t know how people almost drop $1000 on a griddle and let it go to shit

Yes i have a question
Do you have any videos 📹 👀 🤔
Not just shorts?
That grill is still rusty
Doesn’t wet just make it rust 😂
I love that you didn't use any harsh chemicals. Great job
Neighbor already replaced with a welded griddle
Wasted too much money and time doing that, would have been better to rent a sandblaster.

Get your griddle out leave it out get your neighbor to clean it up something like that
Why do these griddles always rust to hell?
5n1
Is it necessary to also do the bottom if rusted?
