Hey everyone this is one of my pink princess’s it’s in a pot with drainage holes inside the larger pink pot. Sits in an east facing window, repotted in jan. Accidentally broke the new growth on the top so I put ground cinnamon on, but either since the snap or putting it in the window (previously just under a grow light no natural light) the bottom leaves have started to die? I only water earliest every 3 weeks any help is appreciated 🫣( also white ring in the middle no idea about that?)

Can you give some insight on the potting soil? Are you feeling it before watering or watering on a schedule? Bottom leaves dying makes me think it’s a watering window, and unless it’s getting full morning to afternoon light (Imo, best lighting for Philos) I think the lighting is too low.

Also, the “white ring” I think you’re referring to seems like a node. It’s where a leaf was in the past. That leaf likely died and the plant naturally shed it leaving behind the natural cork like area to prevent bacteria entering the plant. It’s natural, like a scar.

Pink princesses are notorious for being fiddly. What’s your humidity? They like very high humidity and sunny spot. Also I think the cinnamon hack is a myth, so it probably did nothing for your plant. The soil looks good. Is the stem still hard and stable?

I hope you figure it out, they are rewarding plants🥰
