I’m new to pothos (and plants in general) so I have very little awareness for what’s normal on these plants and when I should worry. Hence, I worry often.
With that being said, should I be worried about my pothos stems? They are turning brown. I could peel most of it off if I wanted to. But I’m more curious why it’s happening.
I have quite a few leaves with brown spots as well. I thought these were supposed to be the easy plants!!!!!

Those are just the sheaths from pushing out new leaves drying out 🙂 No cause for concern!
They’re less easy plants, and more so resilient ones. They can endure a lot of less than ideal care and continue to grow (not thrive) and they can also bounce back from lots of diseases n such. Your plant seems decently happy as there appears to be new growth in multiple places. Just keep watering when the soils dry and letting them hang out, the more fussing with em ya do the more they want to die it seems…
How often do you water? And was it propagated in water before being planted?
