I just got this shallow 10 gallon in for an isopods build. It’s about 7” tall so I need help picking plants that don’t need too much height. I know moss is a good one and plan on growing some in there. Any other plant suggestions that aren’t poisonous to isopods would be great! Bonus points if they are fast growing or tough. I’m also an expert on killing plants so nothing too expensive. I am currently working on building a lid with a fan since the isopods I keep need some moving air now and again but the fan won’t be on constantly. I’m aiming for a humidity around 60%. This is a species that appreciates mostly dry ground so I’m looking for plants that don’t need too much water.

I had a 60f and struggled with finding small enough plants, and proper lighting. Some plants that were perfect were: crypt parva, crypt lucens, s. repens, anubias petite, various buce, hygro pinnatifida, and really tons of other stem options. Absolutely need floaters like salvinia minima, red root floaters, or ludwigia sedioides. And cant forget emergent plants like sprigs of pothos, peace lilies, or spider plants!
