From the moment I saw it on FB Marketplace, I was sure it had to be a variegated coffea arabica. Hoping for confirmation here! Seller had it listed as a "variegated ZZ", which it very obviously ISN'T. I have a ZZ Raven in my collection. Even if this isn't a variegated coffee plant, it's gorgeous and I adore it already.. plus, it was only $10. 🥰🖤

i mean it sure as hell looks like a variegated ZZ to me. What makes you so sure it isn’t? Chances are if a seller is selling a variegated ZZ or coffee plant then they probably know what they have, don’t think they’d lie about that unless they were upfront not knowing what it is. Have you unpotted to check for a rhizome?
This is not at all a ZZ lol. I think you’re spot on with variegated coffee plant and at a steal.

My curiosity got the best of me. No rhizome, but it does have a few very small roots. Leaving it in water for now.

Is it Avacado? The stem doesn’t look woody enough for coffee.
Looks like avacado to me, but I’ve never seen a varigated one.
I believe that is someone’s arm. It may be possible to get a better ID if you can take a clearer picture of the tattoo
