“Truth be told, the front garden now looks almost identical to this pre-freeze image…but now without the vibrant #azalea. The phlox and the tulips are remarkable in their ability to withstand cold. Tulips have a very unique vascular system that allows them to handle below freezing temps…a trait that makes me love them all the more. There are still I think about 200 that have yet to bloom. Mostly in the pinky sorbet shades. Their resilience is inspirational don’t you think?”
