I’m trying to make my jade cutting root, but now it seems to be making roots way up in the air.
What do I do now?
I feel like it’s trying to tell me something
It’s aerial roots. It’s fine. You can cut above one of the lower leaf nodes and nestle the rooted area in soil. It should develop into a new plant fairly easily with the right care.

Jade, like a bunch of other plants, will start putting out aerial roots whenever it’s not getting enough water
My big jade plant does the sameyhimg sometimes.
I don’t care tbh, they die off after a while. I only water when the leaves get a little bit wrinkled.
