How do you make a peace lily flower? You don’t *make* it flower.

2️⃣ Given good growing conditions and care, it will flower when its leaf groupings have pushed out a sufficient number of leaves.

3️⃣ So to get more leaves, you need to understand what “good growing conditions and care” are.

[Environment] I’ve observed good growth with indirect light levels above 200 foot-candles, which is not as far from a window as you might think. One or two hours of direct sun is tolerable but you’ll need to pay close attention to watering. [Effort] Water when the soil is partially dry – if it gets too dry, the plant will wilt but it can recover with a good soaking (but try not to let it wilt too often). [Expectations] Leaves last a year or two so expect to cut off yellowed/browned leaves every few months – more often when your first buy the plant and even more if your light levels are below 100 foot-candles on average.
