The forest pansy tree that sustained damage could go to the dirtlands where it will continue to recover and eventually become a beautiful addition to the landscape without the burden of being the focal point.
Keep wearing those sunglasses, Aaron, you’re protecting your eyes from macular degeneration down the line. I wish I had known this years ago.

I can understand Laura's hesitation but nowadays there are so many amazing features you can have in an outdoor kitchen that's very forgiving of it getting "dirty". You can plan to have it more "enclosed", having a smoker and grill, or a pizza oven…

Soooo,,, an outdoor kitchen/sitting area,,,,, close to the kitchen and the kitchen garden,,,, cooking outdoors and being able to grab a herb when you want it,,, and the smells from the garden when you arent cooking,,,, some outdoor lights for those warm summer evenings…. Hey Laura, I just had the smell of success in my kitchen yesterday.! Ordered my first bag of biotone from Amazon. The bag was broken in the box. A big mess on my kitchen table & floor. Once I got it all swept & vacuumed up, I had the oven exhaust fan on & my diffuser going. Just. In time to get ride of the smell before the oven repair man showed up.
I haven’t seen boitone for sale here🇨🇦so thought ordering on line would be good…..wrong.
If you retool the fire area and seating area and the area where the tree was will encompass the 2 problem areas at once. Since it seems like a big project anyway you can add all the goodies you guys were talking about and the kitchen garden. Sounds beautiful 🤩. Good luck Aaron 🎉

I just can’t keep hanging plants but I love seeing them at other people’s homes. Plus where ever I find a place on my property, it always looked contrived.
I also always said “first child was always my experimental child.”

We have always called you Garden Girl. Not sure where or why but it just seemed to fit as Aaron wasn’t in front of the camera as much in the early videos so it just stuck with us.
Sprinkler system for frost / fruit trees. Keep the water going. It will freeze over the buds/ flowers. Really beautiful and works a treat.
I will say though Laura, building in beautiful hooks into the front gate pillars for hanging baskets would be absolutely beautiful, or using the tops of the pillars for hanging baskets. How glorious and stately it would be.
You should ask for outdoor kitchen submissions like you have asked for garden pictures in the past, Aaron. There are some great ideas out there just for the harvesting! Also, if you go for a fire pit, consider a smokeless version like Breeo.

I don't like hanging baskets. For me, they're a pain in the butt to water.
