Mind the muck on the ground, I squeezed out a cycled filter into the jar to jumpstart it's cycle. A little bit messy but it'll be ready for livestock in a week, and I can clean the mess up once I have a decent bacteria colony.

Not sure what I'm gonna put in here, probably 2 or 3 shrimp culls if anything. Leaning towards unstocked right now.

Will be splitting off a CO2 line that's on the tank below it to make that monte carlo really look like a tree!

It’s a jar, it has life, of course it belongs here! 😀

But yeah, I am leaning towards leaving it empty too. At least for a while – see what kind of life might spring up! 😀

This looks lovely! I have 3 jars that I have yet to do anything with, I u fortunately don’t have the energy and motivation lol but when I do it, this will work as inspiration! How did you go about making it?

You can remove the rock once the wood is saturated. If that’s what you are referring to.

I think it looks freakin cool.

I wouldn’t worry about making it look like a tree. I think the deadwood tells a full story of the life that once lived in it. Not a bad idea though.
