  1. Warning! Rant incoming! Maybe with some projection 😅

I'm surprised to say I actually like all characters. First time I did 2 FTE for every character and 3&4 for Eve.

Also, aside from the times he's being an absolute asshole, I find Daimon to be so BASED. We have similar thought processes.
And I'm no psychologist, so I can only interpret their behaviors based on my experiences, but I see Daimon's arrogance as a result of him being scared of being inferior. In Desmond FTE he gets easily baited into exercising to prove he's not weak, he's constantly compares everyone backstory and efforts in getting and maintaining their Ultimate to his own, his fears shine at the end of the prologue as he gets confronted by "and what makes YOU so special?". Wolfgang said he just wants his opinion to be 'above others' or smth like that, but even if he likes being right, he seems to mainly care about "being valuable to society", and that makes sense. Daimon doesn't have friends so he's like 'if I'm not liked, at least I'm going to be valuable', so if he were to admit his talent is not as great as he presents it to be, he doesn't have anything left.

Eve.. man, I was starting to ship her and MC. I thought she&MC, after being outcasted, would make a power duo that cracks cases and have to be creative to convince everyone, that Wolfgang would be too lost in his own prejudice to see reason and after almost leading everyone into wrong conclusion he'd get character development after his worldview crumbles.
I thought that when Eve and Daimon start to trust each other more and more, it'll end up helping them opening up to others, turn them for the better.
So I was genuinely surprised at the route this game took. Daimon will be developing as a character, but it'll be for the worse; just after he began to slowly open up to someone, he gets insta betrayed, all his cynism and distrust proven right. That's fascinating in it's own right, and for my unfulfilled wishful plot, I can just hope Ao3 won't fail me XD

I really liked Eva. I could understand where she was coming from. Even if she also began to trust Daimon after exchanging their motives, it was already too late at that point, she already have been given a ultimatum, she already sent letters, and even if she backed out of the plan and Tozu didn't kill her, Wolfgang and Diona would have met, realized 3rd party send letters and could found out sooo easily, either by getting everyone's to write smth and comparing handwritings, or by checking their signatures in profiles. That would obviously get her under suspicion again and given she already thought she would be first kill or voted out just 'cuz, … .
She was absolutely in denial all the way 'till she died, not taking any responsibility for her actions, being lost in her spial of bitterness towards the world to notice she could belong in the group, she could have friends, she could be appreciated for being herself and not being judged by her title.
She self sabotaged when she lied about her ultimate and it got downward from there. She panicked and just blurted out first thing that came to mind, because her title was in her mind source of her misery (getting bullied, made fun of, seeing her only as a mathlete and disregarding everything else about her), but then she still got singled out by Wolfgang {I know he's a good guy, but his morals.. damn, if he believed murderer to be innocent he would definitely get them scot-free and would never acknowledge he could've been wrong} and given she was already in negative mindset from even before the game she would just jump to conclusions and perceive everything by that lens. [I get it, when I had very low self esteem whenever someone was walking down the path across me, talking and laughing, I would assume they were making fun of me even when I knew realistically they busy with their own life, not even noticing me; I hated group projects because I thought no one would want to be with me, and if we did ended up together, they were just forced into it]. That's why she had seen Diona's efforts as disingenuous and was so angry about that. Last self defense was denial and blaming the world.

All in all, worth the wait! I love all the characters! Hope they'll all get developed more and more ^^ based on their in-game actions and FTE, they already have distinct personalities, now they just need some personal drama ♡

  2. Damon supremacy. Nobody else has their wits about them like he does. Maybe Wenona and I also lean towards Desmond. Ulysses is also definitely useful. But, that’s about it. All the people other than them are personality hires. Kai & Eloise are growing on me though. I wouldn’t be surprised if Grace dies soon.

  3. “I didn’t know a fan game could be on this level of quality”

    Another duology truthers: first time?

  4. Spoiler

I think the saddest part is she likely got her perk before Diane even offered to bunk with her. Even that small difference might’ve changed things for her.

  5. Bruh how confidently I told myself Wolfgang couldn’t die bc he was too important & was my favourite character 😭😭😭😭

  6. In all seriousness I assume Wolfgang’s father killed his mother or something like that— it’d explain how vexxed he was at the concept of a « man murdering a woman » as he was in the mock trial, he likely saw his mother in Cara/the dummy 🤔🤔

My first thought was that he had hallucinations of his mother since we could stretch to the conclusion Diana looks like her but it wouldn’t make sense for him to attack her (as a man/woman as he so obviously spoke against but also as someone who he thought was his own mother).

So it would lead us to believe that he a hallucination of his father; hence the immediate call to violence and his words saying things akin to « I’ll never be like you » etc. It would also explain why his blackmail says he’s bound to become like his father, if he actually received the message, it prolly would’ve triggered him or thrown him off kilter completely… considering the extreme reaction he had (albeit whilst drugged) shows how deeply the situation affected him.
[Edit: I just rewatched it and he say “bring her back” likely asking his father and talking about his mother.]

[Edit 2: ignore this paragraph, his FTE says his mother was the lawyer]
Perhaps his father also works in the law field; perhaps he avoided “justice” because of it (again lining back to his outburst in the mock trial about victims deserving justice and that no murder could be excused). PLUS it could explain the final sentence saying that he’d be his own person or sumn—

Wolfgang’s title is ultimate lawyer, not ultimate attorney, and as far as I know; whilst all attorneys are lawyers not all lawyers are attorneys(?) and don’t attorneys specialise in defending the criminal? It might be completely wrong, and my whole theory could be wrong tbh LMFAOOO but Wolfgang might even choose to be only a prosecuting lawyer due to it… though I suppose his title would be ultimate prosecutor then… so I might just be making stuff up bc I love this guy aha

  7. SPOILERS (duh)

Am I using one of Eva's signature lines? duh, but fr, damn what a sad way to go especially when she got targeted first by like.. everyone except Damon AND Diana also both characters are definitely gonna be the Maki/Kaito of the game like theres no way theyre making DIANA of all people the antagonist towards Damon, she has zero reason to fight with Damon but I have a bad feeling one of them is definitely gonna die too, I really want an mc switching but itd prolly be hard especially when you take in free time events and stuff but it would be cool if we play Diana as mc for like one trial, SHE ALREADY SAID "No, thats wrong!" Theres no freaking way she isnt gonna be like an mc kinda character later on

  8. Spoilers!
This trial happened the exact opposite to what I thought would’ve happened.
I thought Wolfgang was going to kill Eva at chapter 5 or 6 and people were going to converge on wolfgang like a pack of wolves. But it turned out Eva killed Wolfgang during the first trial
    This is crazy

  9. Some of you all might not realize this, but there’s 3 different routes that get you to the same outcome depending on whether you counter, agree, etc. They’re the logic pathos and counter routes. Definitely play around with the choices if you play it yourself.

Well, Eva really wanted to be the Ultimate Liar so bad, so she lied through the whole chapter.

  11. 1:08:36 To be fair, Lithium batteries can be small. They are in electronic devices such as phones, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles. It just so happens car batteries are massive. Also, of course Lithium batteries are super reactive, anyone who has ever seen hoverboard, e scooters or other devices with Lithium batteries are over reactive that cause house or garage fires. So be very careful. Lithium is reactive to water as sodium… same column as the periodic table due to the highly reactive states.

  12. So Diana was chilling in there for 50 minutes with an armed Wolfgang, and Eva waited to drop the battery for that long after she entered the room, even risking Wolfgang exiting the water. Furthermore dropping it before the start of the tournament would have maintained her alibi as they were still setting up while reducing their confidence in where everybody was in the room. Doesn't make that much sense

  13. Hey johne do you think your ever gonns edit these lives into your standsrd videos i like eden's garden but can't stand watching long live content personally

  15. Eden garden is eating Danganronpa down 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 with the sprites, voice acting and music remixes 🤭🤭🤭🤭 its pretty long though but i kinda have a soft spot for all the characters and im shocked bcuz its only the first chapter. I had a feeling who the murderer was just not the way they did it. I didnt see Wolfie leaving so soon bt that was a cool twist for the viewers. I literally took this entire day to watch all the live streams in one session 😂 all caught up now ❤

    P.S Spoiler

I felt bad for Eva at the beginning and her biggest enemy was herself. The way she kept fighting to survive through the execution really felt hard to watch, it was almost like how Rumi was climbing up that rope to nowhere. Seeing Eva crying during this hurts bcuz if only she could've just been herself from jump things didn't have to spiral to this 😭

  16. My suspicions while watching are that is eva

Reason: She had Desmond's blackmail so she was the only one who knew he had weapons in his room (along with Damon as she shared the blackmail with him, but damon is us, we would know if we killed him). Not even desmond himself knew he had weapons.

She knew Wolfgang's blackmail so she could have an inner motive still unknown to kill him based on that, also could make Damon look suspicious and take the suspicion off her.

Secondly, she was in the boiler room the very first day testing the water to see if it was conductive. No one else other than her and Damon really knew it wasn't conductive. She is super into science research, which means she knew easily how to make the water conductive if she wanted and use that to kill Wolfgang.

I don't think being in the tournament is the correct alibi. Everyone who was in the tournament experienced a blackout, the people not at the tournament or anywhere close, didn't. The generator was definitely a distraction for the killer to act without no one else noticing.

The killer also dropped the pin roll at the closet where Grace and Eva were. This would be easy for Eva to do in the dark as soon as they entered.

Diana said she got a note too. Wolfgang did too. The note was slid under her door when eva was not in the room which means eva could have done it.

Eva also likely has the scientific knowledge to admnistrate the right drug in the right amount.

  17. I don't get the confusion when Eva exposed Damon's blackmail and accused him. That's just fair after HE accused her first. I mean, even if she was innocent, she wasn't but in an alternative universe where she was, who to say she doesn't have any ground to believe so?

  18. Spoilers for this trial:

I feel like Eva as a culprit could've worked fine but it's just 2 things imo – the 'ultimate liar' bit when she introduced herself. She was hurt that everyone cast her aside, but they only did so AFTER she came out as a 'liar'. She could've chosen anything but a liar (in a killing game), and obviously people are going to distance themselves from her. How can she blame everyone else on how they avoided her before and after she was caught. Like yeah, people like Kai would belittle her mathlete title but no one will really perceive her as a threat and just treat her the same because she doesn't have a talent of deception which is dangerous in a killing game. And I get why she was angry that Diana was on Wolfgang's side but like…really? She was one of the nicer people towards Eva, I feel like that was too unnecessary to be a 'this is what you did to me' kinda thing. She could've baited Grace for her aggressive nature, Eloise or even Toshiko.

  19. it’s been such a long time since ive watched a dangranronpa execution that it legitimately made me feel light headed. or maybe its the fact i watched the trial for more than 3 hours. the quality of this game is absolutely amazing! thank you for the gameplay!

  20. It's really fortunate that Wolfgang did what he did to Diana. If he was more compliant, there was a chance Diana would have died as well from electrocution as well.

Edit: Compliant as in let Diana get him out of the water.

  21. Never thought about until now, but the idea of people making fun of an ultimate mathmatician, or mathlete in eva's case, would probably never happen in japan or any adjacent asian setting. They value school and doing well on exams so much that they idolize the kids that excel in math (think about how japanese students always attend cram school or put value in exam rankings). If this wasn't a more western setting, then eva likely wouldn't have been made fun of so much by the other ultimates. I guess in that case, you'd have to go off her being a non-threat, but then that goes for half of the cast too, so it would be wildly different
