Since it’s Christmas and as it’s been a few months since I last posted anything other than Shorts, I thought I’d like to give you an update on a few things:

Oh my goodness! I just had to say that you & Richard have been on my mind today & that I certainly understand what you both have been going thru. Just sorry that it has happened at a young age. (well…younger than my husband & I are.)
Life certainly can take a turn. I’m dealing with a husband with early signs of dementia & prostate cancer (which he denies any treatment for.) We’ve had a stressful 3 years with the loss of my mom, loss of my son in law, my 2 senior dogs & my husband had a stroke a yr ago. Due to all the stress, I have now developed AFIB (an irregular heartbeat) & now take meds to keep it beating normally. (Watch your stress levels)
We are in our early 70’s but neither of us felt it & always had good health until lately.
We have no family close by so it’s just me & my husband. It’s tough having 3 daughters who live over 4-1/2 hrs away to 14 hrs away. It’s scary. They are all the family we have.
You are so right…our health is truly the most important thing & we don’t realize it until our health starts to fail.
Just know that I’m sending lots of love your way & you both will be in my prayers. Hugs from GA (USA)

Really great to hear from you all, and hear Richard has been diagnosed and can start his recovery while learning to navigate its symptoms . As a nurse with issues I’ve learned along with all the drugs needed to manage the problems, diet is equally important. You would be surprised how avoiding certain foods can impact on one health as well. Knowing what the limits are and excepting the blessings. Keep your spirits up enjoying what you have. Awe, I’m sorry for Richard, I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Austio Arthritis…along with Fibromyalgia. Since I was about 30. I am now 65. I feel like mine is manageable, my right hand is narely and I can’t close it but I can get my gardening gloves on and I will not stop! I love your garden and have enjoyed your videos..thank you for the song Richard you have a nice voice. Get rest and never stop doing what you enjoy.
With that singing ability, Richard, you will never starve❤.
