A rewarding hobby has a good mixture of *logic* and *creativity* – the décor philosophy of houseplants certainly hits the creative mark but the care instructions have such poor logic – mainly because they don’t convey how plants work. And if you ignore how plants work, your expectations for how they should grow will not line up with your results.
