Leaf turnover crossover: the oldest leaf currently on the plant (July 2020) was the newest in April 2019. This plant is currently putting out its 13th leaf, leaves 1 through 6 have fallen off. Other than the thrips, I’m very happy with this plant – the wise plant owner isn’t the one who never loses a leaf, it is the one who knows how much leaf loss is acceptable.

August 2018: I consider this my first exotic plant because $40 for this little 4″ pot seemed like a lot at the time!
