A plant that looks like my ‘billy, aged 5’ never able to colour in between the lines drawing skills has had a go at. Thankfully I’m better at growing stuff! This is another of my lockdown rediscovers. A plant I used to grow years ago and 💙. Nicandra physalodes ‘Violacea’ otherwise known as the Shoofly Plant. Its one of those good doers. It looks great in a pot, in a pretty border or as part of a tropical scheme where it’s big leaves and dark stems shine. It is also ridiculously easy to grow… so, give it a go!
