Monstera story:

September 2014: responded to a “plant for sale” ad. Asking price $10.

May 2015: used a dollar store trellis to manage the vines.

June 2015: moved the plant to a Sunday School room at my church. It would have more space and better light…

September 2017: cornered by a west facing door and large north window. Earlier in the year, I installed a tall metal trellis. It’s light green so it blends right in! If you Google “monstera trellis”, my article gives more details. Monstera won’t stand up on their own and will sprawl outwards if unsupported.

August 2018: this was the last photo I took before taking 2 cuttings to my new church. Story continues tomorrow!
