It’s Friday so why not make a cocktail from the garden with Megh?! 🐝
.
The Apiary Cocktail from @meghwingenfeld:
-1 oz botanical gin
-1⁄2 oz lavender water
-1 oz fresh lime juice
-1⁄2 oz local honey
-2 oz tonic
.
Lavender Water:
Boil half a cup of water and pour over 2 tablespoons (a few sprigs) of fresh, organic lavender in a glass bowl or jar.
Cover and let sit at room temperature until cool or overnight.
Strain out lavender sprigs and store in the refrigerator. Add more water if too strong.
.
Directions:
In a rocks glass, stir together gin, lavender water, lime juice, honey, and tonic.
Add ice and garnish with lime wedge and sprig of lavender.
